Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Group plc trading as MORE TH>N ("Royal & SunAlliance") is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. This policy explains how we use the information we collect about you, how you can instruct us if you prefer to limit the use of that information and procedures that we have in place to safeguard your privacy.
1. The information we collect and how we use it
When you register as a user, we will collect the information necessary to provide the service which includes, as a minimum, your name and an e-mail address. You will also be asked to provide your address, but you can register without providing these details.
We will use your details to provide a service, which is personalised, for each of our users. We will contact you about other Royal & SunAlliance products from time to time by email, telephone, fax or other electronic messaging service ñ but only if you choose to provide these contact details and request that we contact you about events and services by ticking the relevant when you register. We may also contact you occasionally about our surveys, special offers or competitions.
2. How we protect your information
The internet is not a secure medium. However, we have put in place various security procedures as set out in this policy.
Firewalls are used to block unauthorised traffic to the servers and the actual servers are located in a secure location which can only be accessed by authorised personnel.
We also keep your information confidential. Our internal procedures cover the storage, access and disclosure of your information.
3. Your consent
By submitting your information you consent to the use of that information as set out in this Policy. If we change our Privacy Policy we will post the changes on this page, and may place notices on other pages of the web site, so that you may be aware of the information we collect and how we use it at all times. We will also email you should we make any changes so that you may consent to our use of your information in that way. Continued use of the service will signify that you agree to any such changes.
4. Use of Cookies
